The North American Automobile Trade Association (NAATA) is a not-for-profit association of vehicle dealers that import and export vehicles across international borders. Our mandate is to facilitate the purchase and sale of these cross-border vehicles. Consumers who would like to save money by purchasing a cross-border vehicle are invited to contact our office. We will help you find a reputable dealer that specializes in this market. Canadian dealers that source American vehicles, American dealers that source Canadian vehicles, European dealers buying from North American exporters and service providers in this market are invited to join our association.

As the Oregon Automotive Parts Association (OAPA) in mid-2006 merges to become part of the ever-growing Northwest Automotive Trades Association (NATA), it continues an Oregon automotive industry tradition that harkens back to 1914.
In that year, just a decade after Henry Ford used $100,000 in capital to establish the Ford Motor Company, 10 Portland automotive aftermarket entrepreneurs banded together to create an organization designed to strengthen their businesses without interfering with each other's competitive independence.
It is that belief in working together and the "power of numbers" that has resulted in today's Northwest Automotive Trades Association.

New Car Dealers of BC, originally British Columbia Automobile Dealers Association, was formed in 1995 to unite all BC new car dealers that had previously been members of Motor Dealers Association of BC and the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Vancouver. The purpose of the organization is to represent franchise new car and truck dealers in matters of common interest - to create an industry voice that represents each dealer's concerns relative to public, media, government and industry matters. The Association also creates partnerships, alliances and other business connections that result in services and products being made available to members on an exclusive or cost-effective basis. New Car Dealers of BC was the originator of the concept of industry self-regulation in BC and is a founding partner of the Motor Dealer Standards Association. In 2002 the Association began identifying itself as BCADA - The New Car Dealers of BC to easily allow the public to know whom the association represents, and on June 17, 2004, the Association officially adopted the name New Car Dealers Association of BC. The Association also owns and operates the third largest annual auto show in Canada, the Vancouver International Auto Show.
